The Low Vision Store is pleased to announce the arrival of the new
Blindshell III accessible cell phone. The Blindshell III is a phone
designed specifically for people who are blind or have vision loss.
With large text, voice output and input, easy to follow menus, and a
tactile keyboard; this phone is a must have for the person who for
whatever reason cannot use a smart phone with a touch screen. If you
are familiar with the Blind shell II then you be familiar with the
Blind shell III. The major differences between the two phones are that
the Blindshell III has a faster and more powerful processor, and the
ability to download third party apps from the Google Play Store in
addition to the apps provided through the Blindshell app catalog. The
other major difference with the Blindshell III is that the screen can
be used as a touch screen for third party apps that support it. This
feature provides users with both a keyboard and touch method of use
for many of the more familiar apps. The Blindshell III is supported
by the major cell phone carriers in the US and abroad.
We invite you to join Erick Nelson and Steve Zent on Monday, February
18th at 11:00 CST for an informational demonstration of the Blind shell
III. Attendees will get a chance to see the phone in action and have
their questions answered.
